We are looking for Captains within 1hr of OPF Airport, C560XL Type Rating – Must meet Argus

Requirements of 250hrs minimum in Type – Must meet above requirements and have listed on resume address within 1hrs of Opa-Locka to be considered.

Welcome pilots!

We are looking for Captains located within one hour of Opa-Locka (OPF) Airport, holding a CE500 Type Rating. We are looking for pilots who meet the Argus requirements of 250 hours minimum in type. This is a salaried, full-time position with full benefits.

Eligibility Requirements

(1) Hold at least a commercial pilot certificate with appropriate category and class ratings and, if required, an appropriate type rating for that aircraft; and

(2) Has had at least 500 hours of time as a pilot, including at least 100 hours of cross-country flight time, at least 25 hours of which were at night; and 50 hours of Multi Engine;

(3) Hold an Instrument rating or an Airline Transport Pilot certificate

(4) One year of previous FAA Part 135 experience is preferred

(5) Reside within one hour of driving distance to OPF.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with flight operations to assign crew
  • Update Passenger information for each flight
  • File International Paperwork (Customs Gendecs, eAPIS, Permits)
  • Assist Sales with Crew duty limits
  • Assist with crew accommodations
  • Assist Director of Operations with Crew training Records
  • Assist Director of Operations with any other assignments
  • Assist crew members with travel arrangements
  • Assist maintenance department with ordering and returning of aircraft parts
  • Assist maintenance with tracking of inspections
  • Create and develop process SOP’s for operational processes
  • Be able to work on weekends at after-hours

Work Experience

  • Required 2-3 years experience in operations at an Air Carrier (Part 121 or 135)
  • 1-2 years process improvement experience – Developing SOP’s, Six Sigma etc.

Education

  • Bachelors Degree preferred

Significant industry knowledge and experience is a must, as well as a managerial mindset and executive, mission-oriented thinking. Experience candidates preferred from the twin propeller and light jet market. We have a growing fleet of propeller aircraft and Jets which allow for great career growth.

Position Description:
To create, develop, market and grow our Twin Propeller and Jet sales. Create healthy and long-lasting client relationships, Develop proactive marketing techniques, to ensure steady growth and retention of customers.

Position Requirements:
In-depth industry knowledge: Jet-Insight, NBAA Air Mail, Avinode, FlyEasy, and other related software to industry.

Ability to work with, motivate and be a part of a successful team.

React quickly to quote requests 24/7 in order to ensure proper fleet utilization and growth.

Customs and Immigration paperwork knowledge/execution required for International flights sold.

Work with Crew to ensure aircraft is sufficiently stocked, cleaned and ready for charter.

Proven vendor knowledge

Ability to lead and instruct a marketing team.

Tiered Commission structure: 1-15hrs, 16-21hrs, 22-50hrs, and 51hrs + (revenue hours).

Requirements:
24/7 attitude
Bachelor degree highly preferred
5 year sales experience in private air charter
Marketing experience preferred
Assisting with every aspect (paperwork, customer/crew accommodations) of trip (international or domestic) required .
